Contribute to the World
Folkfork is community-driven. Every species has folklore roots — and you can help expand that world. Submit a new cultural tradition, species idea, lore suggestion, or name that belongs in the game.
Good submissions enter the Folkfork pipeline: an LLM parses your intent, a preview build is generated, and if the community and PM approve, the change graduates to the main game.
What kinds of contributions are accepted?
- Species — A creature from real-world folklore. Include the tradition it comes from.
- Lore — World-building text, mythology, species backstory.
- Names — Names for species, biomes, or characters from your cultural tradition.
- Visual — Color palettes, patterns, descriptions that match a folklore creature's appearance.
